Why do we love to watch movies, and hate a few who do?

We loose our feelings into the film, we get to relax and forget our own sorrows for a while, we like to let the characters "feel" and act out our very own emotions, etc. Movies inspire us, make us laugh, gives hope, make us fall in love all over again. Sometimes, after a guy watches a superhero/sci-fi /action film, he usually seems to regain his manly strength. But the problem begins when some people come out of a moviehouse, acting like they are Wolverine, or Spiderman. It's really crazy. I have a friend who after watching a chick-flick, she always seem to have been possess by the girl character of a movie she had just seen. Like for example, Serendipity. AFter she watched it, she asked me to go with her for a weekend in another city, with the hope to bump into her high school crush/love-interest and probably get serious with him. SHe was dreaming so wild. All because of this movie.

Movies are like time machines. It is true that movies do transport us some world. And when it is finished, we face reality again.

Haha, a very funny sharing you got there. Anyways, I, myself love to watch movies but I am not addicted that I watch movies at least once a week. I watch movies only during my free time or when there's a really very good movie to watch. Hmmm I watch movies so I can unwind, relax and most of all, have fun. Watching a movie is like putting yourself in the setting. You feel what you see. I don't hate people who love to watch movies. It is what defines them, so I won't get bothered.

Good for you. I was so bothered because my friend begged me to go with her, and i did. I was like a pathetic tag-along. ANd unlike that movie, Serendipity, it wasn't cute. It was a tiring and annoying experience.
