Do You Prefer Baths or Showers?

We all take a bath everyday or a shower. During weekdays when we have to go to work, we might not have the time to take a bath so we opt to take a shower. But if given a choice, what would you prefer to take? A bath or a shower?

I do prefer taking daily showers than baths. I do take bath very rarely when i need to pamper myself. During weekdays I always take a quick shower that does not last longer than 5 minutes. © ronaldinu 2008

Ronaldinu, I would suggest you try a bath more often. It is very relaxing. Pamper yourself more often.

I really like standing in the shower. It is more relaxing to me. I know a lot of people prefer to soak in a tub but it is just not comfortable to me. Of course I like standing out in the rain too. :)

Standing out in the rain is also something i like to do every chance I get. It just makes me feel so carefree looking up at the sky whie the rain falls on my face and body. it reminds me of when I was much much younger and my friends and I would play in the rain.A lot of people also prefer a shower to a bath and they find it more relaxing too. I like both but prefer a bath when I have time to spare.

shower - shower head
Showers, because we have one of those shower massage shower heads. I feel like I am sitting in dirty water when I sit in a bathtub. it does help relax me a little bit, but I always end up taking a shower after wards.

We always take a shower to rinse off after a bath but i see your point when you say you feel like you are sitting in dirty water during a bath. I guess that would be a sufficient reason to prefer a shower especially when you get a free massage at the same time.

I am not a fan of baths. I prefer showers. I know that I do like to stand in the shower sometimes and just let the warm water hit me because it's relaxing. However I've found that I just am not able to get as relaxed when I take baths. I'm not sure why, I just do not. I'll take baths every once in awhile though but otherwise I just take showers.

I usually take showers when i am in a hurry to go somewhere or to do something so i do not find time to really relax although i enjoy the feel of the jets of water falling on my body. But when i soak myself in a bath I feel my muscles lose their tension and i feel the tiredness slip away from me. maybe because i have all the time in the world to relax and so my mind helps me loosen up while in the bath.

I prefer showers instead.. But, I will do a bath just as long as I have a soothing foam to soak in..

I prefer to shower and at the end of the day, find it very relaxing and also gives me a good sleep. Sometimes I just keep standing under the shower doing nothing and just relax.

I've done that too, that is, standing under the shower and letting the water just fall down on me and yes it feels good especially if you could stay longer under the shower. However, for me nothing beats a warm soak in a bath especially after working all day in the office.

I prefer long baths (if time permits me) and usually I do this every weekend or if I'm really busy, usually one a month. Baths not only relaxes but helps or gives you a deep cleanse. That's when I thoroughly check on my body and clean every inch of skin. Showers are also good specially if you're in a rush. But of course after my baths, I take showers to rinse off.

That's true. Baths really make you feel much more clean. We cannot however have the luxury of time everyday to indulge ourselves and so make do with showers.

I prefer showers. They are much quicker and are refreshing when it's hot. On the other hand, when I feel all stiff and sore, and want to relax, I like a nice warm bath. Feels good to lay back and relax in a nice warm bubble bath or in the juckuzi.
