That little amphibian scared me to death

I have a fear of frogs. Even a picture can literally freak me out. Just a few minutes ago, I went out into the garage to get my things to prepare for tomorrow's work and that little amphibian is lying there near the gate and camouflage itself like a leaf. I almost stepped into it. My foot is just an inch away from it and when I saw it breathing, I realized it wasn't a leaf at all and I then knew it was that little creature I am so afraid of. I ran fast back into the house and screaming like anything. My whole body is trembling and I could feel that my heart almost stopped from beating. Does anyone here feel the same way I do about frogs? Or at least a fear of something which made you feel like your heart stopped?

Geesh! You just don't know how I've felt afterwards. I felt exhausted and my whole body is trembling like anything... I couldn't stop myself. No matter how I've tried to tell myself that frogs don't hurt people, it doesn't seem to work for me. I don't know what will but I know I need help. It ccould've been funny though if a friend could actually see me jumping away from the frog. I'm sure I did look silly. I didn't mind at all. All I wanted was to get it out of sight. Whew!

Frogs do not scare me like that. However, I have had one jump randomly out of nowhere and scare the crap out of me. I use to be afraid of palmetto bugs like that though. Those are those giant roach looking things,if you did not know. When I was a little girl I would not even go into the same room if I knew one was in there. They fly though and frankly it freaks me out. I woke up one night at a friends house and one was on my leg. It was so disgusting. I couldnt even go back to sleep. Gives me the heeby jeebies just thinking about it.

Hmmm. This jumping creatures are scaring us huh! Why do these animals leaped off to frighten us? Who gave them the authority to do so. lol. kidding. I sure do know how you've felt about those roach looking creature, though I'm not really familiar with palmetto. I'll search that on the net later to see how they looked like. Yikes! Just the thought of flying roaches is disgusting already, walking on the legs? Oh gosh! I couldn't imagine how you've handled the situation. You must have been screaming at the top of your lungs and awakened everybody in the house. lol. Let's just hope these creatures would leave us alone. Please oh please...
