How is the oldest person to run for president of the United States? You might be surprised. Don't peek now. And add another trivia question to the pile. We can start a TRIVIA Group under Hobbies. I give you the answer tomorrow. walkgal

John McCain is the oldest to run for first term, nbut Ronald Reagan was the oldest when he ran for re-election. I enjoy trivia, but I have no idea how to set up a new interest section.

That's what everyone says, ....but here is an answer I found at Wiki I quote WikiAnswers here: "Actually Mike Gravel is older (b.1930) than John McCain (b.1936). Ron Paul (b.1935 is actually older as well, but Gravel has him by a few years." I did a search earlier in the day and misplaced the site I had, but Mike Gravel was from Alaska and I believe was a Democrat.

I can't resist quoting a ridiculous bumper sticker I saw several months ago: Well, butter my butt and call me a biscuit! It never occurred to me to include Gravel or Paul, because I never took either candidacy seriously.
