when you go buy stuff at the super market or have a take out or have food delivered at home from restaurants or fast food chains, do you like to have it given to you on a paper bag just like before or on plstic bags??

Have you noticed lately the emergence of "katcha" bags of SM and other malls like Rustan's, it's one of their corporate social responsibilities to be environmental friendly. Anyways, back to you question, of course I would chose paper bags because it is the right thing to do. Well, if the establishment gives me plastic bags then I have to recycle the plastic bags so as to minimize the hurt it will cause to the environment.

yeah one of the benefits that a plastic bag can give is to recycle as trash bag yet when you throw it out, it gives the same effect. its just delaying the harm yet same sense right?

Oh well, I guess, the right thing to do is, ask the plastic manufacturers to stop producing plastics.

Not that of a speciality. However, paper bags are to be thrown after using. If plastic bags can be re-used then I prefer it. In my country we are advised to use re-usable bags in order to save the environment. I think that is a good move.

I like plastic bags for my bathroom and for collecting cans, plastic, and glass bottles.

I don't ask and rarely given a choice. It doesn't matter. Paper bags will go into my compost pile and plastic ones will be used for trash. I could care less what they gave me as long as it didn't break before I get home.

Paper bags of cousre. Its environmental friendly and for me its more stylish than plastic bags. Plastics will make you look like youre taking out the trash than doing grocery. Lol.
