Why do pplz lie?

lets see, is there enough room here. I think not but hey just a few then, lets see: to save butt, save face, save money,save time, save trouble for another,save a marriage,usually it is easier than the truth. Sounds better and if I don't lie some more mom won't give me a doggie treat so work with here ok?
