I wonder if people really always wash their face off before going to bed every night...Like if you have a full face of makeup on say for like a wedding or a special event, and you have been drinking and when you walk in the door all you want to do is jump in bed, do you think about washing your face or do you just go to bed and do it in the morning...

If I have just had an ordinary day where I was wearing make up then I take it off every night. If I have been out on the lash though and I am a bit worse for wear when I come in then I normally just fall into bed. I have even been known to just get into bed fully clothed before!

When i am so tired I still clean my face but I use a toner instead of washing my face with a cleanser. In that way my face is still out of make-up and somewhat clean.

It doesn't matter how drunk I am and how bad I really wanna jump in that bed. I have to wash my makeup off and brush my teeth before I go to bed. With a total of 5 mins taken out to wash my face and brush my teeth before bed I will do it. I couldn't stand going to bed with a face full of makeup. That is not good for your skin as well leaving it on for that amount of time. I just have to take it off.

I don't wear makeup very often anymore, but when I was a teenager and wore make up everyday I would wash my face before bed regardless of how tired I was. It was just part of my routine, as much as putting on pajamas. Then in my early 20's I grew out of that habit. I began going out to nightclubs a lot, a few times a week at least. I'd get home around 2:30 am and would just throw on some pajamas and hop in bed. If my hair was up, I'd take it down, but wouldn't brush it or anything, I'd just plop in bed. Now on the rare occasion that I wear make up, I won't bother to take it off at night. Most of it is worn away by the end of the night anyways, but whatever is still there stays all night. I don't care all that much.

I only wear eyeshadow and eyeliner, but I use the makeup remover cloths to get it off. Then I will wash my face in the shower. I've never really worn any other makeup on my face, but in a couple of years I might need to. But I'll always be sure to get it off my face before I lie down.

I usually have to take my contact lenses in the evning so when I do this I usually also wash my make up. Once I hadn't wash my quite 'heavy' make up and the effect was terible. I not only looked like from nightmare but also my skin (especialy around my eyes) felt itchy - I'm trying really hard not to repet this situacion...

Hi risris, I always wash my face before go to sleep. Specially if it is a makeup for a party or wedding because it is a heavy makeup. I normally use only lipstck so if I need to go to special event the makeup must be more heavy than this LOL. So I make sure that I clean my face very well before go to sleep. Sleep with makeup is bad for your skin. Cheers and have a nice sunday.

I usually take my lipstick off when I get back home. But, I will admit, that there are times where, I accidentally went to sleep with lipstick and my contacts on before..
