My puppy shilo is sooooo sweet. She is 7 1/2 months old now and over 70 pounds of pure love. She is the most loving dog I have ever owned. She is an Akita. The first Akita I have owned. I have owned (or been owned by is more like it) many different breeds of dogs and a few Hienz 57's too but none have been as loving as Shilo is. She is just so sweet. Even though she has medical issues (leaky bladder) that we will most likely have to deal with all her life I wouldn't trade her for the world. She is on medication so we have eliminated almost all the symptoms of her problem.
I have another sweetie at our house. He is a mini daschound and he is also extremely loving. He is 7 years old and weighs only 10 and a quarter pounds. He is very sweet and loves nothing better than to cuddle up with his humans and soak up the love.
Words do not adequatly describe the amount of love these two members of our family give us.

here is a pic of our big girl! She is so loving. We used to own a female mini daschound and she was mean as a snake. She only liked my daughter. She hated everyone else though.

I still think that's funny we both have a Shilo - my Shilo the beagle is my constant companion and I don't know what he's going to do if I get work outside the house. He's been with us a year now and no matter where I am he has to be in the same room or will set and bark that beagle bark/howel.
Oh more love from pets - one of the goats kissed me yesterday when I was out collecting eggs. I leaned down to check one of the cubbies for eggs and the male, Prince, came up and rubbed his nose right in my face. It was darling as both the goats are still kinda shy.

I've always thought goats were 'interesting' until we got Prince and Cinderella early this summer. I'm in love and their my little babies even though they are both just about full grown now, size wise that is. Attached photo of them not the greatest but they tend to be a bit camera shy.

LOL - I can see why the rest of the family may be a bit upset :)
When we went to get the goats (intended to help protect the chickens) we took the grandkids with us. Getting a male and female each got to pick one and then name 'their goat'. Well, grandson wanted to right off name his 'Spidie' but Grandma tried steering him away from that (Spiderman fan) as he already has 2 stuffed animals named spidie we might get confused who he was talking about. Well, when we got home he went to the neighbor's to play so granddaughter and I were home. She was only 2 at the time and I personally wanted Cinderella because she has little splashes of grey on her nose and ears looks just like she had her head in the cinder bin. I didn't want to influence too much though so first suggested Dora (she loves her), Princess, and Cinderella last. Second I said Cinderella that was it she wasn't listening to anything else. Well, Andrew came home and we told him what Colleen named her goat and he on his own said he was naming his Prince Charming. He's the only one that still calls him by his full name though the rest of us just call him Prince.

Pets are wonderful, and from what you have written about yours here on myLot, they are no exception to the rule. My husband and I feel exactly the same about our two cats, Shakti and Mysti. We both come from families of animal lovers. my mother and my sister have all kinds of pets. We just have the two cats.

Hi sweet. I know exactly how you feel! I feel the same
way about my two boys! I love them more than I could
love anyone or anything. I know that really sounds
terrible, but it's true. I have loved all my cats that
way. But each cat that I have had has been different
in the way they were. The each had their own personality.
Although they each had a sweetness about them they were
very different. The 2 that I have now, I think are the
sweetest of the 5. My cat Star is the very sweetest cat
of them all. He is the lover cat. He always wants to be
near me and touching me. He likes to lay next to me in
bed and has to have his arm or leg on me. He is like a little
person. He will actually put his arm around me! He is so
sweet! My cat Luna says mama! He says it very clearly! He
says it when I'm on the phone and my friends think it's
a little kid saying it except they know I don't have any!
I taught him to say it one day when he was visiting me in
the bathroom and he just repeated it and now he walks around
the house saying mama mama mama! My cat Cougar called me
ma so I knew it was possible to teach a cat to say it!
I am extremely blessed as you are sweet! We are very lucky
to have such wonderful loving members of our family!
