We are having veggies marinated in Mr Yoshida sauce. Asparagus, red and orange bell peppers, purple onion (none are from our garden). We are having baked acorn squash to go with it too. Of course we are also having pork chops (marinated in yoshida sauce) and homemade biscuits.
We are having mostly veggies tonight though. I like having meatless nights atleast one night a week. Some times it is beans and rice and cornbread. Other times it is grilled veggies. Still other times it is black eyed peas, rice and cornread or biscuits.
Do you ever have meatless nights?

Sounds like a wonderful meal, sweet. We are, in fact, having spagetti with homemade sauce that's loaded with garlic, onions, and green peppers tonight. No meat at all. Sometimes we will go a full week w/o meat. Depends on what's in the freezer/cupboards.

What is Yoshida sauce? I've never heard of it. I love love love my veggies but there is no way I can go without a meat. Every so once in awhile I may have cheese in place of meat but I love my meat and could live on just that. Beans and rice sounds good though with a slab of ribs :)

Sounds delicious, but to be honest, I am afraid I would sneak some Kielbasa into that. Wait a minute! Pork chops are not meatless, heh, heh. We had pork ribs last night that came out pretty good. I cooked them on pressure in the multicooker for 1/2 hour first, then put then in our counter top infrared/convection oven to finish with red pepper/sweet onion bbq sauce.
I am nuts about kitchen gadgets and had just bought a new sauce brush I was dying to try out. It worked really good. Made of silicone, it is small but packed with features. It has in addition to the thread-like things some strands of silicon with holes punched in them to hold the sauce, so it doesn't just run off like some bbq brushes. It also has a slant so that it can be set down on the counter top without getting it all gooey.
