I don't mind if I don't get a responds to my discussions. But; it does bother me a little when someone ask for help on something then they don't let you know if the problem was resolved or not. It would be nice if they could let everyone know if they found an answer to their problem. What do you think about this?

I agree with you, that annoys me as well. Sometimes someone will ask your opinion about something, they may have many responses. When you go back to that discussion to see how it is going, there is noting there from the person who started the discussion. I do not see the point in asking for opinions if you are not going to comment on the responses you receive. I started a discussion on elaboration, why people did not elaborate on their discussions. I may have gotten one response. It makes the discussion more interesting when you have feedback from the author of the post.

It would be nice if they would just respond back and let everyone know if the problem was resolved or not.

I really try to respond to anyone who responds to my post, but sometimes I forget. I think it's terrible when I respond then go back and see that I didn't get a comment from the original poster. Did they read it? Did they just post a question or comment or debate, then move on to the next one? I was reading through the 'new' discussions a little while ago, and I saw like 25 posts from the same person on 3 pages. Does she just start discussion after discussion after discussions, and not re-read who responded to her posts? I didn't check if she was replying to anyone, but dang, she posts a lot of stuff in a day. I think people should put up a new post referring to their issue to let everyone know the outcome. Details are not necessary, just let us know if the outcome was positive or negative.

I myself forget at times to respond back. That is why its nice they have the unresolved section; so you can go back and respond to the ones you forgot.
