linen. It had beads, but some came off in the wash, so I cut them off. I've had flowered vests, leather vests, woolen vests, linen vests, acetate vests, mostly one solid color vests. Do you own a vest or vests? Do you like vests? How often do you wear one? I often wear one when I go out. I find that they keep my shirt clean (if you drop something on a vest while eating, you can go in the bathroom, take it off and clean it), and since wearing a bra causes me muscle spasms in my neck, back, and shoulders, it really saves me a lot of pain. So if you like vests, why? If you don't, why not?

Only if you wear short vests that come above your beltline or ones with lines going across, or brightly colored vests. Earthtones with long lines that go beyond your beltline would make you look slimmer and taller.

I do love vests also but I dont usually wear it. I just bring my vest one that is good for the rain so when it rain I can use it. I have different color of vest but I like my maong vests which I seldom wear. I just wanted it and it is in my closet. I have one in my bag during Saturdays and Sundays when I am on my casual attire but I dont usually waer it on working days. I used to have my blazer on top of my blouse.

I don't own a vest. It gets too cold here in the winter and feel as though my arms would be cold all the time. I have seen some gorgeous dress vests in the stores but always think they would look better on someone else. I'm cold most of the year, except when it's 90 or above, so wearing a vest wouldn't be something I choose to wear.

I often wear vests with a jacket. Many suits I own have both. I have to do something instead of a bra. Getting so I can wear one for an hour at a time, but I don't go anywhere for just an hour. Spring and fall, I only need a vest, winter, I need much more than that. I often wear a Baja, they have long sleeves and are quite warm. Sometimes in the summer, I only wear a vest, but just around the house.

Hello writersedge.
I haven't worn a vest in years. I guess either I don't see them when I'm shopping or I just don't think about wearing them. The idea about vests keeping one's blouse clean is interesting, I never thought of that.
I used to wear vests years ago and I liked them. It sounds like you've sure got alot of them and all different kinds, too.

Yes, but alas, since I got fat, many of them don't fit me any more. Vest shirts are coming into fashion for much younger ladies than me. I'm surprised at how many young girls I see wearing them.
I have a vest kit made from rug canvas. I can order rug yarn of whatever colors I want. I thought 99 cents for a bundle was good, but if I do the vest as a small 32 bundles, medium 35 bundles and large 37 or 38 bundles. I think I've got a problem.
Maybe I'm make some yo-yo vests.
