Children of Men - An experience ...

I've watched Children of Men yesterday and there are only few things I wish say about it - - One of the BEST movies I've watched in recent times ... 9/10 ... Superb acting, the cinematography was top-notch and the photography (extended single shots and war presentation) was taken to a completely new dimension - The story although inspired by a novel leaves us thinking of so many things ... - But the greatest point of the movie is its IMAGERY ... the imagery in the movie and the poetic style of shot making truly mesmerizes the audience ... although there were atleast 20-25 scenes the best ones were: * The allusion of what was to come through the cat which first stays at Theo's legs and he doesnt bother and then slowly rises to his knee and he realizes it ... The cat represented the character of Kee (notice the metaphoric name) and the trust she put on Theo ... * The character of Marissa (if i am not wrong) was a true epitome of globalization irrespective of where each of us hail from ... * The reaction of the soldiers in the penultimate scene ...
