Yes, it is true.
About 1/2 of the country will not like the results of this poll. The other 1/2 will like these results. Click here to find the latest GALLUP poll results of McCain vs Obama.

I say the poll that counts is in November, but check out the trend of this poll. It favors McCain. Be sure to check these results in a week.
What do you say?

I know.
Even though I dislike these polls, this does tell a story, and Obama is in big trouble.
As was pointed out a few weeks ago, in spite of the favorable coverage for Obama from the MSM to the point of actually seeming to campaign for Obama complete with tingling leg syndrome.... the question still remains as to why is Obama not enjoying a double digit lead over McCain?
For a very long time, McCain was not even a significant part of the MSM coverage while Obama and Clinton fought it out, so how is it that McCain is now passing Obama in the polls?

McCain passing Obama in these polls has to be proof people are getting wise to the BS of the MSM.

The one thing I have to point out about this and most polls I have read is that they do not factor in third party candidates. Maybe this year they will not be a factor, but I find that hard to believe. Anytime we have had a tight election a couple of votes here and there has made the difference. The fear is always there that one of the candidates will take some of the base of the two candidates. Last poll I read had LP candidate polling at 3%, but I must say this was before John picked Sarah. Let us say that those numbers stay the same John McCain would be at 45%, Obama at 45%, and Bob Barr at 3% with 7% undecided. I do not know how much Nadar will take from Obama since I have not seen a poll with him involved. Now I did see down there in the bottom that 2% of those polled said neither so maybe that would account for the other parties, but who knows without factoring the candidates themselves. We will have to see how this all goes down but October will be interesting.

Dang it all! I had forgot about a third party messing things up. I sure do want to see what this poll looks like in a week or two.
