Engine Rattle

I have a 1996 dodge stratus, My engine just recently starting to rattle, what is the possible cause?

the prob maybe using less engine oil all this while....so it can possiblly be the noise of the tapids.... the best thing wud be for you to take it to the mechanic as soon as possible!!!!!!
