Are you among the popular kids? or did you belong to the geeks, the ones being bullied most of the time or the ones never been heard of?

I have studies in 2 different schools. Till my 10th standard i studied at a school in my hometown. I was kinda popular at my school. I used to come first in my class till 6th standard and i topped my school in the boards exam. I was appointed the house captain of the school during the year 1999-2000. I was more popular among the teachers as wel, since i was good in studies and other co-curricular activities as well. I was good in sports as well. I used to participate in all the sports activities and have even represented my school in quizzes and all india level talent examinations. There was one more reason actually. My elder brother was famous too among the teachers so thats one more reason i was a popular kid to as his younger brother. The other school i talked about was after my 10th standard for which i had to stay in a different city away from home, preparing for competitive examinations. I would hardly attend the school, since i was more involved in coachings. Schooling was not a problem that time. so, i was lost i the crowd of intelligent people where i was no different from the rest of the people. but i am still popular amonth the teachers i knew in my old school, and my name still lasts on the board as a topper in my old school.

How could I describe my position in high school? I was known, but I wasn't popular. I consider myself to be semi-popular. People knew me, and I could be seen hanging with the popular people but I wasn't in a "clique". I was the nice, shy girl who could be friends with anybody. Its weird that I can't describe well enough where I stood in high school. I just know I wasn't an outcast.

I was stealth when I was a student. Few people have seen me and no one knows me. . Seriously I was always just involved in a small group of friends. Few but real friends that will give up thier life for me.

My bestfriend has been a friend since high school. We've been friends for over 15 years. You don't always have to be popular to make it successfully after school.
