tell him frankly that it was your mistake and you re ready to do anything reasonable to make up for it...ask millions of sorries if yu feel comfortable in apologizing!!..i think that might help!!

you say he/she is your good friend. then simply go and apologise straight. there is nothing more than confessing and repenting. express your repentance. more than your words, your feelings and expression speaks a lot on your regret.

Call and say sorry to him, i guess he will understand.
Sometimes we just over let out our feeling.
As a good friend will understand and forgive.

Well the best bet IMO is to call your friend up and apologise. I know that when I quarrel with a friend if they are in the wrong and they say sorry to me it makes a difference (showing me that they are sorry makes an even bigger impact too)

The best way to be sorry for that is to have a sincere talk with your friend as you apologize to him. You should humble yourself this time and forget your pride. If you are really sorry for what you've done, you should be the one who'll approach your friend and talk to him.
