One of my friends is down with Chickenpox. There are lots of myths about this disease. Doctors prefer to take bath everyday so that the germs will be removed. But old peoples are saying that don't take bath until you got full recovery. Regarding the food also there are different opinions. I heard that, those foods can give much cooling is very helpful to recover easily. For example, banana, curd and coconut water etc. What is your opinion about this? Do you agree the myths are correct or we should approach it in a scientific method?

Chicken pox is a highly infectious disease, that's why it's surrounded with these myths. It has no relation with any particular type of food (of course foods that give cooling are prefered since there will be fever as in other diseases). The patient's cloths can be contagious, so to keep clean by taking a bath is advisable.
