Yes, it is true.
There are those with such large egos and so much insecurity that when they see some truely admirable individual, (like John McCain) they just have to make up stuff to to try to make people think they with the large ego and insecurity are like the admirable person everyone is looking up to. This sort of behavior is pathetic and is often refered to as ME-TOOism. Here's the best example I've seen making fun of this.

I say that if you too found this funny, please, be sure to go out and vote come election day.
What do you say?

I actually saw an article this morning on Obama saying he considered joining the military, but since Vietnam had ended there was no point.
When I joined in 1974, Vietnam had already ended... at least I thought it had.
Yet in the summer of 1975, everyone in the unit received a Vietnam Era ribbon which needless to say... came as a surprise.
The fact that Vietnam ended is no real excuse not to join the military, the fact remains that he chose not to, so his story means nothing.
The liberals of course believe that the thought equals the deed, so maybe we can think about giving him some type of medal for his considered service to our country. Do they have an "Idiots and Buffoons" medal?
How about Liar of the Century?
I say "our" country because no one is clear where Obama's loyalties truly lie, and he has been caught in an awful lot of lies concerning his past and his associations.
I must say, that all of the hot air being expelled by Obama and his fellow windbags in the democrat party and the MSM aren't doing much to curb man made global warming, and I think the folks at the EPA should look into this problem and see if they can't be equipped with some type of CO2 restriction device, like a gag.
As to the voting, I agree completely.

You are on to something with that restriction device for CO2 emmissions. In particular, for politicians. Who spews more? No one! What is the content of 'spew' from human beings? Mostly CO2!
All right, let's get the gags ready and hunt those politicians down.

atheleston... Actually, Obama is a liar, and he has been caught in far too many of them for anyone to even attempt to claim otherwise.

I give Scott Ott two gold stars for presenting some truth about Obama's foolishness in a way that really hits home and had me laughing out loud as well. Even funnier were some of the comments posted by people who had read the item.

Yes, Scott Ott must profoundly understand the foibles of politics and politicians to be able to come up with his brillant satire.
