McCain is currently leading the polls 4 points over Obama and the New York Post has announced it's endorsement of him:

...and for those who are concerned about the lack of appearances by Sarah Palin on the various news shows:
"The Alaska governor will sit down for an interview in her home state with Charles Gibson of ABC News, according to a McCain aide. The interview will take place "near the end of the week," according to the aide."

Sometimes our computers and the various websites seem to have minds of their own - you never know what they're going to do!

Re the polls, clearly McCain has got his post convention bounce, but we need to look at all of the polls, not just one. Someone else posted elsewhere that the average of a clutch of polls shows Obama with a slender (i think 1 point) lead. So another tight election it seems.
Re the New York post endorsing McCain, well having read the article, not really much of a surprise is it?

I think it will be come much more apparent over the next couple of months - I believe it's actually 50 days now - just where everyone stands on the issues.
