like with like or opposites attract?

Do you and your partner share the same views/ opinions on most things or are you totally different? DO you think this makes a difference to what makes a good partnership?
personally I like a good old debate so would not want to be with someone who agrees with everything I say.

Love is a great feeling which has to be expressed. If you find it true, never fail to convey, thats a tribute to the love in real.

My husband and I are opposites. We don't even like the same kind of music. But we have been married 9 years so it seems to have worked for us so far.
My mom and dad have been married for 35 years. Dad was totally a hippie and mom was a good girl. Worked for them too

I don't think any normal person wants to be with someone who agrees with them on each and every issue or topic but you do want to have a good balance. My husband and I agree on some things and don't agree on others but he do agree on the things that we feel are important. When we don't agree we do respect each other's feelings and have had some decent discussions about our differences.
