my sons father passed away and his only uncle left is in prison and i dont know

i need to find my sons uncle who is in a out of state prison any ideas

Do you know what prison he is in? If not go to the DOC website for your state and you should be able to search his name and find out where he is.

Do you have any idea which state he is in? If so, you can go to that states offender query and do a search there for his name. Give some more info and I can try to help you. Im sorry for your loss.
