Killing for Pleasure !!!!!

Well, i seen this movie today in which people pay to torture and kill other people for pleasure. The movie was named "Hostel" and the people who offered these services called it "Elite Hunting" in which you hunt people down for fun! The movie chilled me down to the spine. Common People were abducted to be supplied to the Elite crowd to be tortured and then killed. People handcuffed to the chair, a tray full of diffrent instruments of tortute, an electric saw! and the Elite crowd can use whatever instrument they want to torture and kill.
It made me think do these things Actually Happen OR is it somebody's work of fiction?? You never know these things must be happening, just that people are not aware about it!

There was a short story a long time ago, I think it was called "The Deadliest Sport" or something, where people were kidnapped for rich people to hunt and kill. It's an old idea.
I can't imagine why someone would go see that Hostel movie if they knew what it was about. I wouldn't want to watch things like that, I'm just a wimp I guess. But it's not my idea of entertainment. I couldn't even watch the movie about Pearl Harbor a few years ago, I started to cry when the bombing started and had to leave the theater, much to my husband's disgust.

Yes i do know that it is a very old sport, at that time people were thrown in front of hungry lions to be eaten alive. I didnt know it was such a gross movie. i thought it to a horror movie! Even i cry watching movies and that is the reason i dont like to see romantic or family movies!!

I guess that's the world we live in. A lot of nasty people about. I stopped, however, to watch movies like that. I just think that my time is too valuable. But there is obviously a market for this kind of stuff, otherwise Hollywood wouldn't be making these movies anymore.

Yes , definately there is a market for this king of gory stuff that is why movies like that are being made. This movie just made me realize that people can do anything for fun, but killing other people is disgusting!
