Do you love YOURSELF more OR your PARTNER???

This question just came to my mind and to be honest with you i really didnt have an answer. I know for a fact that i love my husband very much but that dosnt mean that i dont love myself any less!! I say this because there are times when i act stubborn and stuck up!! for things that i feel are important to me and my husband gives in cause he knows that it would make me happy. This clarifies that he loves me cause he does things for me that make me happy. This was the thing that made me question if i Love myself more or my husband/partner.
What do you think about yourself...do you love yourself more or your partner????

I always loved someone else more than myself and would give them everything. That usually doesn't work out very well and the person will take advantage of you and take you for granted. You have to love yourself at least as much as the other person.
You have a very sweet husband and I hope he stays that way.

I hope too that he stays the same for life! You know Dragon54u, it is bacause people will take advantage of me that i dont show my true self. i can be very caring but i dont want to taken for granted. I know this would sound wierd to you but I dont iron my husbands shirts for him, cause i feel that he will think i will iron it for him everyday. I wait for him to start ironing and then take over form there and he thanks me for ironing his shirt!! Although i dont need his thanks but i feel appritiated for what i have done. I am a bit wierd i guess :)

I love myself a lot and as I'm yet to find my partner I will love only my family.After finding my partner I will love her too.Thanks for giving me an opportunity to comment in your discussion.Happy to see people after marriage love their partners a lot, more than they love themselves.God Bless all.

Wish that you get your partner soon and also understand that loving somebody is so much of an understanding. Everybody should experience love and its side effects!! You are most welcome Divinchris. Yes it does feel good to see people so happy after being married for so many years.

I respect your answer but tell me one things honestly...Dont you feel that you are the only one giving at all times and accepting everything?? I think i would have felt that, if i were you. But anyways two people are not the same !

I am sure that must be such a wonderful feeling of togetherness.For the past 39 years, wow!! I have just about covered 2 and a half years of marriage and i still feel so much in love with my husband.
