Are you sarcastic or straightforward?

Something happened just today, I feel kind of upset because somebody seemed to have implied that I'm not doing my job and that I'm being a brat. It was a task that was entrusted to me by my team leader. Although I admit that I'm not able to do the task efficiently, the person should have just shut up and let our team lead deal with it.
I hate people who are sarcastic but I also don't like straightforward people who just means to hurt somebody else or I guess it depends on how they say it to me.
Me? I can only be straightforward to my closest and best friends. Most of the time I can be more straightforward in writing rather than in talking. To everybody, are you sarcastic or straightforward?

I really did not like the task and it's task that is supposed to be done by a supervisor or a team leader they just needed my help. Since I heard sarcasm from one of my teammates so I stopped doing it.
As for my time at work and the internet, I spend most of the time at work but when I have spare time, I browse the internet. :)

i like straight forward people and i also among the one. my grandmother always use to tell that the person who is straightforward is always better and good than the person who just hide and tell wrong about us behind us as the straightforward person tells out whatever feels and whats there in his heart and you will know everything about him but you will not know about the person who tells behind us.
and hence the straightforward person is much better and can be trusted but not the other one.
so i also believe that and might be you feel hurt when a straight forward person tells you something but the person can be truted and dont harm you.
i always tell everything straight forward but when i feel that it might hurt someone i dont tell anything and just keep quite most of the times.

I have kind of a sarcastic sense of humor so sometimes what I say is misinterpreted as criticism when I'm really just making a joke. If something important is needed to be said, though, I would rather be straightforward and come out with it. I wouldn't have said anything to you in this situation either sarcastically or in a straightforward manner because, as you said, it's the team leader's decision to make. Criticism from the wrong source just breeds resentment!

Depends on the person and the situation. I can be very sarcastic but straightforward in a rude or mean way? You'd have to start it pretty much. And even then, I'd probably give you one pass unless it was really rude.

Well, sometimes I am being sarcastic or straightforward especially if I'm irritated and when i know that person need to hear the truth.. I know that I am not good if I am being sarcastic or straightforward because I am not thinking already what others will feel all I'm thinking is my point and the truth.. To other people I am an evil but to my friends they just think of me as someone who is a strong person.. well, actually my friends are all comfortable when every time I am being sarcastic or straightforward because they know that is me, that is my personality.. But through others I am trying my best to be not sarcastic since I know that they wouldn't understand me and they might hate me for that.. I am trying to changed my attitude and my behavior.. Only for certain times that I am very irritated and not in the mood I am being sarcastic to anybody...

i think you don't need to be angry. things like that happen every day in our work life.
no matter they are sarcastic or straightforward you just think it's for work, not focus on your personal thing.
People have different working style. we can't change it, we just can change ourself.
I think according to my nature i'm a little straightforward. but i never try to hurt another people. in fact due to this kind of nature i found i'm used by other collegues, i paid price for it.
i think i need to learn something from British people. they are not sarcastic nor straightforward, but they can do their job very well.
happy Mylotting.

I can somtimes be sarcastic and sometimes be straightforward, really depends on the situation I suppose since I often try to weigh the situation if it would work out well if I do say it straightforward without offending anyone or probably have to beat around the bush until they finally get it.
Apparently, confronting those people who can't structure their opinions into constructive criticisms is a rarity. People should give others some amount of consideration after all.

I think I am more straight forward like you in with what I write down. I really do not like sarcasim. I think it is very rude and to be straight forward and up front with someone is probably the best way to be but not in a rude way. We should do this in a helpful way if you understand me.
