If you could be anyone, who would it be?

Imagine if you could be anyone at all, who would it be? There are times when I am totally fed up with myself & look at other people & think, "They've got it made." I tend to think negative thoughts, put myself down - I'm not pretty enough, not smart enough. Then I stop & think that maybe it would be nice to be another person. Life is easier for so & so. Of course we all have our battles & nobody's life is perfect. Since we aren't rolling in the dough, I'd like to be someone with lots of money but who isn't in the limelight. I would also want to be absolutely brilliant - there's nothing worse than someone who is loaded but completely empty-headed. Someone like Bill Gates' wife (I feel like a big dummy - I can't remember her name; is it Melinda?). That would be cool. Of course with money comes a lot of responsibility - I'll shoulder it!

Well collieluv28
I would have to say that there is no other person that I would rather be than me. Certainly, I am working diligently to become the more improved version in all aspects. In order to accept life in its totality, I have to believe that I have whatever I need and that I am capable of getting those things that I want. It is all based on what you do with what is available to you. One has to reaccess one's values sometimes. Nourish those things that are valuabe to you. It helps one to get inline with one's own personal philosophy of life. Truly assess and evaluate those things that you believe will make such a difference. One life time is enough to handle. To add the images and perceptions of anyone else is folly. Being me is the greatest person to be. I will get the kinks out eventually and will soak up as much of this life a I can doing it.

You have a great attitude! We are all so unique & we should appreciate what we have - kinks & all.

I would prefer to be Robert Kiyosaki. A renowed rags to riches person but after the daydreaming I tend to be myself for it is impossible to be Robert

Excuse my ignorance but who is Robert Kiyosaki? Sounds like someone who has really hit it big time & is super intelligent. Always like hearing those rags to riches stories.

I can symphasize with you, I tend to have negative thoughts. But funny enough, I never imagined being anybody else. I sometimes have these wild daydreams of being an adored rockstar, or a world-class politician who saves the world. But that's it, they are daydreams, and I put them in their place. Now, for really wishing to be somebody else, I don't do that. I always try to figure out to become a happier person myself.

Good for you - you have a very healthy outlook. I am for the most part happy with myself but it is fun to imagine what it would be like to be someone else.

I know it is impossible. But if I can have a daydream and the dream come true. I dream that I will be someone who has all the strong points of others.

Okay, so you really thought outside the box. I guess I chose Gates' wife because I am a woman but I suppose I could be a man in my dreams. Or I could still be a woman but be like Bill Gates. Okay, now this is getting really weird. I don't really feel sorry for myself because there are many out there who don't have much. It's just fun sometimes to dream.

i don't want to be anyone. I want to be myself. Nobody can not become like somebody. Each and everyperson in this world is unique in some regards. Each and everyone has some gifted strengths and winning points. So if you know which jobs you are most good at you can definitely shine at your careers. Instead running or becoming like other persons that you are not so good at won't work.
