This show has become my new obsession. I didn't tune in when the first season was on but thanks to Netflix I am now. The season2 premiere was on last week and its coming on again in the next 5 minutes. Does anyone else watch the show?? I know it's basically a bunch of rich kids taking advantage of the fact that money can buy you anything but its still interesting to watch them fall on their bum. Did anyone read the boos?? I really want your input. Who watches the show? Have you read the books? Are the books as interesting as the show? Do you think stuff like this really happens?? I've never had a lot of money so I'm never been the one to practice reckless behavior but it still looks pretty tempting. So tell me what you think..... Happy myLOTTING!!

It's exactly what you said. A bunch of rich kids taking advantage. And yeah it's interesting to watch it and read it. I have been a really big fan of the books. I actually first heard about this a few months before they started saying that it was going to come on. I had just watched John Tucker Must Die and I saw Penn. I decided to check him out on Imdb and I saw that he was working on Gossip Girl. I was so excited and decided that I had to watch the show and I did. I really like the books and the show is really good but I really can't decide which one is better because both are so different. I think that the show has more dept and more stories can be made. I don't really know if stuff like this does happens but maybe it does. And like you I've never had a lot of money but what they do and how they act is just crazy. I just really like the clothes that the girls wear. I wish I could dress like that.

I LOVE this show. I think it's a bit better than the books. The show doesn't really follow a long with the books, but, it's still great. I know stuff like this happens - think of young Hollywood, they live it everyday. It is a bit tempting, isn't it? To not have to worry about money issues, to do whatever you want, whenever you want. I wouldn't mind living like that for a few days, but, I suspect I'd get tired of it. Way too much drama! Haha.
