When it comes to ice cream, do you care more about the flavor or the calories?

I don't eat ice cream regularly, so when I do, I just look for something that tastes good and don't pay too much attention to the calories. What about you?

I also enjoy mint chocolate chip. That was the flavor I bought most recently. I usually alternate between that, vanilla bean, and a unique one called honey vanilla. It sounds weird, but it is tasty.

The flavor, of course. I don't feel like counting calories because that's no way to live unless you are trying to lose a significant amount of weight. It's all about the taste, you know? I've had fat free ice cream and yogurt and I didn't find it appealing in any way. There is a difference between the fat free and the non fat free.

I agree. My mom likes to buy the fat free ice cream and it never tastes as good as the real stuff. If I'm going to have a treat, I'm going to enjoy it!

Never think about the calories when I eat ice cream I think more of whether it is too sweet for my liking. I definitely care about the flavor - chocolate ice cream for me anytime........yum!!!But then I do not eat ice cream often. Only once in a while which is mostly McDonald's creamy cone ice cream. Have tasted Baskin Robbins and Haagen Daaz before they are real yum but the price for the ice cream is absurdly expensive.

When I have ice cream, I do not even think of the calories. For me, the point of eating ice cream is to just let go... and not think about calories! Though most times, I limit myself to just a couple scoops.

I completely agree. Ice cream is a treat for me, so I don't care about the healthiness of it. I just enjoy it.

I eat ice cream regularly. In fact I make it regularly. For me it's all about the flavour, calories don't even cross my mind because I have a high metabolism. Right now I have Nutella Gelato and Strawberry Cheesecake ice cream in my freezer (both homemade) and I just had some of the Nutella Gelato. Like I said it's all about flavour for me. My next ice cream is gonna be cookies n' cream.

it's all about the flavor for me. I've never paid attention much to calories in anything to be honest with you. I never saw the point to it at least right now I don't. I'm going to enjoy the food I eat :D My favorite flavor is cookies-n-cream along with chocolate chip cookie dough...yummy yum!

I don't care about the calories at all. I don't even care about the weather. I just eat ice cream when i feel like it. I eat it even when there's a storm. I want to eat all the flavors as much as possible. Recently I had discovered a local ice cream which offers native and different types of flavors like durian, avocado, atis, blueberry cheesecake among others. I bought them even if it was freezing in y office. I just love ice cream. It's my dream to have an ice cream store someday.

The flavor is more important of course. Diet ice cream just does not taste good. In general it seems the more calories it has, the better it tastes.

Hello About calories, surely I don't look at it at all. But I have tonsil problem so I have to think about it before taking more ice cream. About choosing flavor, yes I consider it. Mostly I prefer all flavors except few one, and chocolate is one of that. I mean I don't like chocolate flavor which i know favorite of many.

Vanilla ice cream is what I prefer to eat for ice cream but I really don't eat too often. My kids love's chocolate flavor as well as my husband. For this moment, we have ice cream that it's low in calories and less sugar however my kids doesn't like. They prefer the regular ice chocolate ice cream.

Since I am thin, so I don't care about the calories very much. I pay attention to the flavor of the ice cream much more. As I am picky to the ice cream flavor. If it is not my taste, I prefer not to eat it. I want to enjoy my ice cream and it shall be a joyful feeling.

Well since I started tracking my calories a few months ago. I've noticed you get very little ice cream compared to the calories you would consume if you made a healthier choice. It's good to make comparisons... you know how many pieces of this fruit vs a cup of ice cream and you get.... odds are you will be able to eat more fruit or veggies and feel full than a cup of ice cream will ever do for you.

I care about both since I'm losing weight right now. The thing is, I know ice cream is usually not low in calories, so when I do decide to eat it, I keep that in mind & try not to eat too much.
