Life is not pre-determined

Life is not pre-determined, it is determined by the choices we make and the actions we take.
What are your thoughts on that statement?

This is a nice statement my friend... and yes, I'd have to agree with it. I believe that we are the ones that who create our own destinies. I mean yeah, certain events that happen in our lives are unexpected but we still can make our own choices. There are some people who complain that they never had a choice with some of the things that have happened in their lives. However if you think about it, there still is a choice involved. You chose not to make a choice. Sounds a little complicated but hey, that's reality.
Personally, I've made a lot of good and wrong choices and they have led me to where I am right now... I know I could've made better choices in the past but if I did, there might be a lot of things that I may not be able to do or have the things or people that I have in the present. So really, it's not a matter of "destiny". We have the power to change it based on our decisions and outlook in life.

i know what you mean about choices, there is always a choice, sometimes we may not look at it, sometimes it may be the harder of the choices, or ones we don't like, but regardless we always have atleast 2 choices, it is a matter of deciding which choice is the best, even if it is the harder choice or the one we don't like.
we all make the choices we can based off of what we know at the time, later we may realize it was the wrong choice, but on the same note, we didn't know everything at the time we made the choice, so we make the best choice we can with what we know at the time, if we always made the right choices, well i don't think life would be as interesting and we wouldn't experience a lot of what life has to offer, there is always something to be learned from our choice, whether it was the right choice or the wrong, we just have to look for it

I agree. My life has taken many unexpected twists and turns over the years. Every decision I have made has lead me to where I am today and made me the person I am today. Sometimes I'm not sure if that's good or bad...but usually I think it's pretty good.

lol yeah, usually the choices we make and the actions we take have a way of forming us into the people we are today, it's funny to think that if we had of done one major thing differently, or a few minor things differently, we could possibly be a completely different person
