I'm So Excited...

Some of you may have wondered why I recently posted discussions asking you about having auto accidents. Well, for the past several months I've been developing a new business. I discovered that no one out there does what I will be doing, which is really exciting because it's an entirely new service within the auto accident field.
I create computerized diagrams of auto accidents. When I started working in the Risk Management / Accident Department for the cab company I work for, I found out that everyone in the industry still uses hand drawn diagrams. This is fine for the every day accidents like fender benders. However, when bodily injuries and fatality accidents occur, details can make a big difference.
Since I taught myself how to draw freehand with a mouse on the computer several years ago, I knew there was a better way so I began doing computerized diagrams of our accidents for our court cases.
This is a very specialized area and in case someone out there thinks they are clever enough to do what I do, I'm trademarking and service marking what I do so forget it.
The reason I'm so excited right now is because I just finished designing my web site offering both the computerized diagrams called Crash Maps and the subrogation services for professional drivers and for small businesses with commercial vehicles.
I'm also excited because I got my first steady client today in the form of a law firm that handles auto accident cases.
I guess what's really exciting about this business is that I'll be helping a lot of people, maybe even some of you in the future. In addition to the services I mentioned above, I am in the process of creating something called Crash Kits and I'm writing a booklet called Crash Rules.
The Crash Kits are accident preparedness kits. They are not the simple little kits you can get at Pep Boys or Target. I'm getting input from some of the most experienced people in the auto accident business on what to put in these kits so people will be prepared for an accident when it happens.
My booklet called Crash Rules is a step by step booklet on what to do in the event of an accident. It will include information on what your rights are and how to protect yourself in the aftermath of an accident.
I'm going to be posting a series of articles on myLot and several other spots on the internet to let people know some of the "Do's" and "Do Not's" when you have an accident. I hope you guys will take the time to read them.
