Johnny Depp, known for playing more eccentric roles like Willy Wonka, Edward Scissorhands and Sweeny Todd, is being considered to play a role in the sequel to the Dark Knight, the recently released Batman movie, in the role of the Riddler. Joining alongside him as a villain is Philip Seymour, playing the role of the bird-loving, umbrella wielding Penguin. http://splashpage.mtv.com/2008/09/08/dark-knight-exclusive-michael-caine-says-johnny-depp-is-the-riddler-philip-seymour-hoffman-is-the-penguin/ Would you support them playing these roles? Do you think they will really be cast in those roles? I guess we'll just have to see.

I think both of them would actually be very good! Depp has always played the more unique roles and played them very well so I am sure he could bring a really interesting twist the the character of the Riddler. And Seymour-Hoffman has the abiklity to play a very arrogant and twsited character well himself so would be great as the Penguin. Heath Ledger has already shown us that a person you would least expect to handle a role so convincingly is more than capable. His role as the Joker was brilliantly done.

Have you heard that they are talking to Cher to play a older version of catwoman.

Yeah I've heard it too but it's just their proposed actors not yet sure if they will push this through, and of course not sure whether Johny Depp and Philip Seymour would accept the offer. But I think it would be nice if they have a sequel for the joker
