is burning fossil fuels and coal makes us sick?

i am a motorist myself and lately i become much prone in having these runny nose and watery eyes due to allergy and cold. this is not my health condition before. i also notice the rising cases of respiratory problems like asthma which is also my concern about my younger boy. does your health change lately? then tell me.
