I was cheated on by my ex-husband. Some years later i met and married my present husband. I told my friend that i couldn't trust him 100 percent, she instantly said "You shouldn't be married then". Do you think she's right? Im really not sure, but i am happily married.

IF you do not trust him... then i agree with your friend.
You shouldn't be married to someone you can not trust.
That's great that your happily married... but if you don't "trust" him..
How long is that happiness going to last?
I couldn't even be with someone if i didn't trust them, let a long marry them.
but relationships and regardless of what type of relationships. (marriage, couple, friends.etc) you need "trust" in that relationship to have a good relationship.
That is how i think anyway....
