I used to have fantasies like that also. And actually the guy I am with right now does fit the mold that I set. He's taller than I am, very intelligent, funny etc. Other things like the wedding and stuff not yet cause that stuff hasn't happened yet lol.

My fantasy hasn't changed much as I've aged. Taller than me, dark hair, nice smile, good sense of humor, intelligent. Has it come true? No. Not even close. I have yet to meet the man who fits the bill. I've met a couple who come close, but most of the time they have some detriment which obliterates the other positives. Fantasies are nice. Unfortunately, they can limit our world-view. Sometimes we get so caught up in our little check-lists that we miss the people who really fit the bill. I'm not so caught up in finding Mr. Right (as I see him), but I'd like to find a guy with certain core attributes. If I do, all the better, if I don't, well, I've heard being a nun is a fulfilling lifestyle choice. :)

yeah lol i know, :( fantasies are for fairy tales but it's nice to think of one now and again You will soon meet Mr.Right, he might not be your fantasy person, but doesn't mean you can't love him get married, have kids etc ( if thats what your planning). I believe everyone finds Mr.Right one day...:) hope he pops into your life soon, thankyou for responding

I'm cool if he decides to hang back for a while. Call me a feminist, but I like my space right now. It's nice being independent. However, marriage, kids, the white picket fence, all of it, sounds like a real nice goal.
