Are there fast-food places with no or low carb food choices?

When I was doing a low carbohydrate diet I know we had a hard time finding fast food places that would cater to it. When we'd go to Burger King we'd ask for a burger with cheese but without the bun. Same thing with McDonald's, Arby's or Wendy's restaurants. We'd usually have to repeat the request to them since evidently no one ever ordered that way from them before. LOL Salads without the croutons and carb-laden goodies and with lower-carb dressings are another choice.
