when i was pregnant with my second child i have colds on my first month and have taken some cold medicine for that without the prescription of a doctor..since unfortunately i didnt know that i was pregnant during that time since im always have a week delays of my monthly cycle..and after 2 months i had to take a testing pills to know if im pregnant or not..during those time theres no over the counter pregnancy test sort of..compared today..and found after that my second child was sickly and was asthmatic since first year of her life...and i was sick when im 4 months preggy with my youngest daughter(fourth) colds and fever!! my gosh and that i was rush to the hospital and was given a liquid kind of medication not so strong compared to the tablet or capsule thing...and yet i found this youngest daughter so healthy and not sickly compared to my second daughter...and the first and third pregnancy was great for me no illnesses whatsoever during the terms of pregnancy..what about you ? any similar experiences ?

Hello dear vanities. When my wife was pregnant with my son, she never took any medicine even if she got a bad cold. She just let her illness get recovered naturally. I appreciate my wife taking so good care of her baby during her pregnancy.

Hello vanities,
I only experienced once and it was an easy one for me. I didn't get morning sickness or any kind of illnesses during my pregnancy but my baby was born a month earlier. I think I did too much exercise accidentally ( I moved up and down the house too much, rushing here and there) 
My baby boy was healthy when he was born and now, he is a big boy for his age weighing 26 kg at the age of two!

I was quite healthy when I got pregnant before I was married, but I gave up the baby and when I got married, that was when there were the warnings about not taking any medicine if you got a cold while pregnant and I got colds quite often. I was terrified because I thought that when you got pregnant you never got sick and if you got a cold and you were pregnant you lost the baby and if you took something to make you feel better, you lost the baby. And I did wonder if I had miscarried more than once because of the frequent colds I had.

My first pregnancy went without a hitch. My second I got strep throat.....ran a fever and couldn't even swallow.....I also got the hong kong flu....I had to crawl to the bathroom....she was born premature..and is still just a tiny little thing that suffers from anemia....with my son....it was without a hitch too! I was lucky!
