why are there so many grand parents raising there grand children?

Well, parents might get caught up with their life in one way or another. Grand parents are often old people who are lonely and miss having kids to take care of, so instead of telling their own children to shape up and raise their own child, they take care of the grandchildren. Sometimes the child is better off anyway, when it comes to deadbeat parents. The grandparents might have a very healthy, loving environment.

MOstly comes from teen pregnacies and the parent of the girl usually end up with the kids! I have seen many cases like this in Tenn. Even my Sis-in-law did for her grand kids. only one of her daughters took and rasied her own kid.

If your asking why there are so many grand parents taking care of their grandchildren, there are alot of reason, one of the reasons are what have you mentioned, on that reason grandparents don't want to see their young ones suffering due to irresponsible parents, it is their young generation so as long as they can they wanted to take care of them and give them a good future. Also one of the reasons why some grand parents took care of their grand children it is because child's parents is not around to take care of them due to work, the parents need to work outside the country to give them a good future.... Grandparents wants their young generations not to suffer that's why as much as they can they are willing to take care of it especially when the parents of the child is irresponsible.....
