Do you ever wonder if you are a good parent? If so why? How do you think you could be a better parent? I often think I'm not doing a good enough job but my kids are healthy happy and growing. Still how do I know they will turn out to be good people? What do you think?

Everyone wonders that. Your rarely get a good answer while your children are still young. Oh, there's the occasional feed back from other parents to keep you going but the real answer often doesn't come till your children have become adults and you see how they apply the lessons you've taught them to their own lives. The most concrete way is when you discuss them having their own children and they say, "I hope I can do as good a job as you did."

All the time. I just want to make sure that what i doing for my kids is the right thing. I always think about what they will do when they get older. WIll they appreciate the things I have taught them. Will they use the things I have taught them. I really want to make sure all my boys can fend for themselves; laundry, cooking, and cleaning. I also want them to be chivalrous and respectful. I hope that everything we teach them as a child is healthy and helpful.
