Why do most people who study in the metropolis tend to stay and work there instead of going back to their province to contribute to their own community? I came from the province and studied in the national capital region for college, now I'm working in the same region because I have better opportunities here. What are your opinions on the matter?

i do think the same as you do!! i have finished my studies in my own province and i would be working here only!! cause this place is full of opportunities!! i think there is no point in going to a place where there are lack of opportunities!!.. only if we have the opportunity we would be able to succeed in whatever we do!

that sounds wonderful! unfortunately I don't have the same luxury. It's impossible to find a good job in my province that would let me earn enough to live on my own. I'm from the Philippines by the way.

Well you have said it already, the opportunity is in the city. Maybe someday you could get back to your hometown to help after you have already applied what you have studied in college. Unless your course is related to the environment in your hometown then you could really go back there to work but of course there are more opportunities in cities and having a job is a big deal already because not everyone has it.
