I don't think you can get too many, because I have 16 and they don't work, I have 3 that work everynow and then and make few cents, and they wonder why they don't make no money. They only answer an start 1 or 2 discussions.

Hello,
I think there is no limit on how much refferal you have. there is no Maximum and there is no Minimum. as it's writen on affiliates link.
All myLot users are automatically eligible to make money by referring new users to myLot. Invite friends, family, new acquaintances, forum buddies, or whomever you wish. You will receive a bonus equal to 25% of their earnings.

I have 11 referrals but only 4 are doing anything on here, but they ARE making me 50 cents a day! Just think how much I'd get if all 11 were working hard on here!!! You can have as many as you want, there is no limit. I just answered a discussion from some guy who said he had 309 referrals! That's hard to believe, 309 referrals would be putting a couple thousand in his PayPal account every month as is, why would he even want to be doing this with that kind of money coming in?!!!

they would only be putting a lot of money in if all posted. My experience is that less than 4% WILL POST ENOUGH TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE, BUT ANY POSTINGS HELP OUR EARNINGS, SO ITS IN EVERYONES BET INTEREST TO BE AN ACTIVE MEMBER (OOPS kitten on keyboard!)

HAHA! Sorry, I wasn't going to post on this, and I was just reading through the topic, but the kitten bit made me laugh out loud.
While I'm here, I'll mention I have no referrals, but once I'm certain that this is a legit site and will give me money, I'm going to post a referral link on my DA.

I don't think you can ever have too many referrals! You get 25% of what they earn, so that can add up quite nicely. As for too little, well I think if you have under 10 that might not be enough because you have to remember that they all won't be active.
