Tata nano passes road tests in India by ARAI. Several tests have been conducted and it passes all those tests to hit Indian roads shortly. The Nano is fitted with a twin-cylinder 623 cc mounted petrol engine that generates 33 HP. Those dimensions make it the smallest engine in India but sources say the Nano managed to score around 24 km per litre during its ‘homologation’ tests with ARAI. This is even more than the highest in market (the Alto). It conforms to Euro IV emission standards too. What more you need. lets keep the fingers crossed for the Nano.
