According to the article published in THE WASHINGTON TIMES in 7th of April, 2006 with the title: Judas stars as 'anti-hero' in gospel, By Julia Duin.
This article describes an ancient Egyptian manuscript as the “Gospel of Judas”. It was released in 6th April, 2006 by National Geographic Society as one of the greatest archaeological finds of the past century.
The document remained a legend until a copy in the ancient Coptic language, native to Egypt, was unearthed sometime in the 1970s near El Minya in Upper Egypt. Samples sent to the University of Arizona's radiocarbon-dating lab a year ago showed the manuscript's date as between 220 and 340 AD. It is not known who wrote the document or when the original was composed (probably written in Greek).
The article mentioned near the end of such gospel, Jesus tells Judas he will "exceed" the rest of the disciples "for you will sacrifice the man that clothes me."
Considering this sentence “THE MAN THAT CLOTHES ME”. It is in agreement with a very clear verse in the Quran which tells that Jesus was not crucified but God made ANOTHER MAN TO RESEMBLE HIM. The Quranic verse reads:
“And because of their saying (the Jews in boast) “We Killed Messiah Jesus, son of Mary, the Messenger of Allah, but they killed him not, nor crucified him, but THE RESEMBLANCE OF JESUS WAS PUT OVER ANOTHER MAN, and they killed that man. Those who differ therein are full of DOUBTS. They have no certain knowledge, i.e. they follow nothing but conjecture. For surely, as Word of Allah, they killed him not (i.e. Jesus)” [004:157]
Now, if we look to the underlined capital letters in Quran and such Gospel, we will find that both are the same. However, the history of such Gospel dates to the third century. That means it had been written at least three centuries before the revelation of the Quran in 600 AD. So, as the Quranic verse states “no one of those followers of Jesus is sure if Jesus himself was crucified or not”. But as the Quran and this Bible assures “OTHER MAN CLOTHES OR RESEMBLES HIM”.
So, this Gospel should put an end for the Crucifixion story which was unbelievable to many of the ancient Christians. As such Gospel mentioned, Judas had a role,by the orders of Jesus, that “exceeds” the rest of the disciples, since he will be the person who will take the resemblance of Jesus or he will be sacrificed as the man who clothes Jesus. So, Judas was not committed suicide soon after he betrayed Jesus (according to the Gospel of Matthew). But he disappeared because he was the man who took the resemblance of Jesus.

Thanks for BR, I owe it all to Jesus.
I'm not here to defend the Bible, Jesus doesn't need me to do that. "Vengeance is mine saith the Lord". And, my people aren't terrorizing the world and oppressing it's followers.
I'm here to help destroy and expose the cult of Islam with my keyboard.

"THE MAN THAT CLOTHES ME."
If I talk about the shirt that clothes me I'm not talking about a shirt that looks like me. I'm talking about the shirt on my back that is providing clothing for me right now. "THE MAN THAT CLOTHES" Jesus is the physical body that is around his soul. That's how it read, but it doesn't matter. The so called "Gospel of Judas" does not have any relevance because it was dated centuries after Jesus lived. How can anyone remember that long ago?
