Judge duct tapes defendant's mouth

OK - so I don't always agree with so-called "Texas justice" since they tend to be a bit too hard-core for my tastes, but there are some things that take place there that I can definitely appreciate, like this story.

Seems the defendant didn't take seriously either his right or his mandate to remain silent, so the judge did what he had to do (or appeared to have to do). Sometimes a non-traditional tactic is the best response.

If that was the only way to shut the guy up, then so be it. lol I bet it hurt like mad when the tape was pulled off. Bet it didn't teach the guy a lesson either.

Oh this one is so funny. But I do have to agree that the judge was only doing what he needed to do. Maybe next time the defendent will keep his trap shut. or maybe than again if he wasn't smart enough to keep his trap shut this time more than likely he will not the next time either. Some people will just never learn but this was needed.
