where is justice when you need her?

The news bombarded us Filipinos of the CA justices axed, suspended and reprimanded because of the highly controversial case of the GSIS vs. Meralco. An investigative panel that was formed to investigate the alleged bribery found irregularities on how the justices handled the case. It all started when one of the justices admitted to having been bribed by a businessman who is allegedly connected with Meralco to push the case in their favor. Meralco on the other hand denies to having any connections with the businessman and the bribery. The Philippine justice system took a beating today with the general public losing faith on her. Where else can the people put their faith to? When all things seem to go wrong for our country, can we still be called a happy nation? I bet when survey results come out, we'll drop down in the list of happy countries.
