Oh I have experienced the same difficulty several times. Don't worry. You are not alone. Sometimes the ideas seem so hard to come and you can sit for hours staring at your monitor with no new ideas or topics to post or even to base responses or comments on. I call those periods mental block periods. The good news is that they don't happen often though.

If brain doesn't work I just let it pass. And what I am going to do is just answer discussions with no responses and answer the discussions of my friend.Normally when I am sad that's the time I can create juicy ideas and when I start I couldn't stop...Just like PRINGLES..once you pop you can't stop.So when I am in the mood and sad I couldn't stop my hands from typing and creating new topics here in mylot.

I know what you mean, when I go to make a discussion my mind just goes blank. I will be driving along and think of all kinds of ideas for discussions but when I finally get to where to strt them, I don't remember what it was, guess we need a pen and paper and when we think of these great discussion we can write them down. I accredit mine to old age and too many other things on my mind.

It happens. That's why I haven't posted any new discussions for days. I just responded to discussions. I have a lot in mind but saving it. I do write my thoughts in a notebook, proofread, type and save in my folder, re-read and when it's time to post it, I just copy and paste it to mylot. I will post one of these days. Good day dong!

Yes, it always! This is the reason why I seldom open my own discussion. It's hard to find good subject. There are lots of subjects actually but I don't just post for the sake of posting. I want a sensible topic and that has always been very scant. So my friend, cheer up it's not only you... but a lot of us here! Have a nice day!

I find that I get the ideas at the wrong time of day! Usually when I have closed the computer down and trying to sleep, I get ideas then and it's too late, and I can't sleep because I have these ideas floating around, so what I do is keep a notepad beside my bed so if I do have an idea I can write it down so I don't forget and the following morning as soon as my computer is on I will start the discussion. Sometimes when you are on the computer you just get a mental block and no ideas will form which can be frustrating at times.

Always have a pen and paper at hand. You never know when those ideas come. It's convenient to write them down at once. Before I log in to mylot, I make sure that I have at least a few topics to start a discussion with. Then I end up sometimes with more ideas coming as I write. It also happens to me most of the time. I end up giving myself a headache from staring at the screen for so long without writing anything productive or something that makes sense. Sometimes the ideas and words just flow and sometimes they don't.

Hey dong1970, I think its true that sometimes because of excessive involvement of one's mind in any work actually does a mental block. This is not neccesarily computers but any task which involves an apparent excellent rhythm between your mind and body. Sometimes it happens with me also that i get some innovative ideas when i am almost done with my work for that day..... :-) I think always carrying a writing pad and a pen along with oneself will be helpful and you will never regret of not noting that down.... :-)

Yes, I sure do have that problem too. I come here thinking, OK, I'm going to respond to as much as I can and start some discussions of my own. Then when I get here, my mind goes blank. LOL. So, I write things down during the day that I think I would like to discuss on here. Hope that helps. Happy lotting.
