I was waondering. When you drink, or get drunk, do you wake up the following moring in high spirits or do you wake up hungover? When I wake up hungover I always say that I am not drinking that much again. Then it happens. I wake up hungover again. Why do we choose to drink like we do? I only drink at home because I believe in the don't drink and drive campaign. But why do I drink so much. Anyone else have this problem?

I wake up hungover. A friend of mine taught me a trick just the other week. When you are out drinking have a glass of water every other drink. I tried it and it really helps. I also like to have a glass of water and an aspirin before I go to bed it really helps. Of course we all know the only way not to get a hangover is to not drink!

If I'm drinking no matter what happens I make sure before I go to bed that I have a bottle of water and then I don't get a hangover. I'm still a little sluggish in the morning but I have sleep apnea and drinking makes it worse.

When I was younger I never suffered from hangovers. No matter how much I drank I was always okay the next morning. Unfortunately a few years ago I started getting really bad hangovers, despite not drinking as much. However, I have found that if I drink some water, even just a small amount, I feel alot better in the morning.

Isn't it wonderful how aging changes everything about us? LOL. I'll have to try the water thing. Maybe a piece of bread to go with it. Thanks for your response.

No matter how much a drink..and i can drink alot...i have never had a hangover. At one party i went to and drank heavily, no one could understand the next morning why i didn't have a hangover. I always have wondered why i have never had one.
