When i was browsing around MyLot member's profile page, seems to be many members here putting images or banners that refer viewers to their websites or affiliate programs in the "add comment" space. Doesn't this allowed in MyLot? Another question is, how do they add images or banners in the add comment space? It seems to be only text is allowed when i tried to add comment to other members "add comment" space. Thanks in Advanced! MyLoters.

there is no clear explanation about that. let first thing first. mylot said that we should not place commercial stuff on our profile or other mylotters' profiles. but i notice many users place their own commercial banners on their profile, and so far nothing happens. so, i think it's oke to place banners on your own profile. what about add banners on others' profiles as comments? well, if place banners on our own profile is allowed, i think that's also allowed. so, i will say that it's 'legal' but not advisable. that's not a polite way to leave comments on friends' profiles. it will annoy your friends and many times will end up your name being deleted from their friends list. regarding the 'technical aspect', well, i think you can place html code of the banners as comments.

You are only allowed to add a comment to someone's profile if they are on your list of friends. Some people do add banners and links, but everyone has the option to remove the comments from their own profiles, so if you do it your banner or link may not stay there for long. It is a better idea to customize your own profile page. If you use the edit your profile button you can add html and you can add as many links and banners to your own profile as you want. It really does work if you are an active member at myLot, because other members will visit your profile and see the banners and links. If you are posting in a discussion you are not allowed to give a referral or affialiate link, but you could say that there is a link on your profile if anyone is interested.
