OK, I tried an experiment

I tried an experiment to see what would happen. Instead of starting any discussions yesterday, I uploaded 10 pictures and responded to 20 discussions. Well, when I checked my account today, I had only made 29 cents. Down from the 50 cents I made before. So, I guess I'll go back to the other way and see if it goes up again.

Hi there lilcee
Hmmm that is interesting, I thought you are supposed to get paid more for photos! So what did you do before that you will be going back to?

The amount you get varies depending on a number of factors, including the quality of the discussion/response. As far as I can see it varies between 1 and 4 c for each response. At one time I believe that discussions that you started had to have a minimum number of responses before getting any payment for it, not sure if it is still the case. There is also the problem of some responses or discussions being removed (including any payments for them) if they breached guidelines.
They use to pay out bonuses occasionaly (probably money deducted from deleted discussions), but again not sure if this still happens.

It's funny how they rate things around here, huh? I say that you should do a little bit of everything and see how you do.

I don't know how they rate them either I am like you I try things and they don't seem to work, the only thing I have seen that work is the longer you are here the more experience you get the more your earnings increase, that's just my opinion.
