well i was really introduced to the doors when i was at university and then became obsessed with everything jim. i bought all the cd's, videos,the film, posters name it.
Jim was an exicting, intelligent and mystical and thats whats fascinating to me plus the music of course. The fascination prolongs more into the way he died or the way he was protrayed in the film.
Am i nuts or ....?

Wow marina, Your fascinated by Jim Morrison and your so young!
Damn! I was madly in love with him! Those tight black leather
pants! I was around for the real Jim Morrison when he was
really out with the Doors! That was a great time for music!
It also was a sad time for music because of the back to
back deaths of Janis Joplin, Jim Morrison and Jim Hendrix-
the "J" curse! Val Kilmer did him justice in the movie.
He really looked like him and acted like him! Jim Morrison
was one of my all time favorite singers and the Doors
were one of my all time favorite bands. Light My Fire and
Crystal Ship are my 2 favorite songs. You are not nuts! You
have great taste! He was definitely a rock icon, one of the
greatest!

Hey cyrus! Nice to meet you! Welcome to mylot! We do have
alot in common! Jim Morrison was so my favorite singer at
that time. I loved his leather, his voice and his cute face!

Yes, I thought Jim Morrison was cute, too. I also like his leather pants. Would you believe I got some leather pants several years later?! Mine were black leather. I think his were brown leather.

No, I don't think you're a bit nuts. I had a huge crush on Jim Morrison when he was living! I still like him and the doors a lot because I've been listening to them on youtube quite a bit here lately! I had just about all of their albums. Don't worry, because I used to wonder if people wouldn't think much of me if I told them I liked the doors because of the Miami incident, etc. What I'm trying to say is, I know how you feel. I loved the man but not the act itself. Kathy.

Nah you are not nuts, in the last few weeks I have developed an obsession with anything and everything to do with Henry VIII and his wives and how they lived etc etc. Now that is nuts!

I think your nuts....I'm joking...Hey we've all done that sometime in our life about a singer or actor or some celebrity. I know I did when I was a teenager. I myself didn't really listen to the doors too much, I seen the movie, and I just thought he was weird. Have a good day

I don't know much about Jim Morrison but I have heard of him, guess I didn't follow his music but now I don't think you are nuts at all just normal.
