When I was browsing through unanswered discussions earlier today I found one saying he wanted to meet someone from here for a date. That was the only discussion he had made and he hadn't replied to anyone else so he was probably either a joker or a brand new member.

I dont use myLot to attract people, rather I found it interesting that you could earn money while participating in discussion, and the more I participate, the more I enjoy myself. I could see that myLot members come from all over the world, all walks of life, and it's so interesting to note that there's so many compassionate and nice people out there!

i never understood how people find their mates on the internet...it is so impersonal and cold...i mean when guys hit on me on the internet i don't even give them attention..not to mention all the freaks that can hide behind their pc and playing innocent and loving and understanding...nothing compares to being face to face..i have nothing against friendships and sharing opinions but i never felt the need of knowing anyone in person

I might flirt a little but not interisted in getting blind dates or using anything to attract someone. I have and did meet my wife on line but it didnt start out that on line. the chat room we visited was for a local area that I was in and it happened that both my wife and myself attended and we officially met at the party. great way to make friends and meet people. I just happened to meet my wife

I had blind dates (blind but with photo exchange) but I never used and I am not using Mylot to attract someone.
I agree with you about cyber thing. They, in some special case, can help or be interesting but the real life is different and better.
