McCain's Mavericks Commercial, is there anything factual in this?

Fist off, have you actually looked at the meaning of the word Maverick? According to Merriam-Webster dictionary Maverick is defined as: 1. an unbranded range animal; especially: a motherless calf. 2. An independent individual who does not go along with a group or party. I hate to say that McCain doesn't sound like either of these definitions (He voted 90% of the time with the leader of the republican party, and although he does kind of look like a calf, we all know he isn't motherless). Secondly, according to this ad McCain has cleaned up Washington. Does anyone think that Washington is cleaned up? It also states that Sarah Palin fought against the bridge to nowhere, yet she is on RECORD as suppoting it, even using it in her campaign for governor.
Does anyone actually believe this stuff McCain is putting out?

I just learned who's running his campaign and was very disappointed to find that many of them are Washington lobbyists. How is this a maverick? I sincerely believe that John McCain is a patriot but he's losing me on several levels. There have already been shakeups within his own campaign so what kind of revolving door administration is he going to have? He changed his campaign midstream after choosing Palin, suddenly becoming a maverick, yet he's on record of supporting the Bush administration time and again. Suddenly he's going to veto pork barrel spending? What's he been doing for the past 8 years? It's sad but, no, I no longer believe what he's putting out.

I don't believe any of it.
Palin is insanely right. Opposes abortion in cases of rape and incest, supports it if the mother's life is in jeopardy= Believer in God who thinks it is okay to tamper with God's plan... but shows no morality for rape victims.
She believes they should be emotionally, physically, and financially responsible for the child. Raising the child without the father. But is running on a platform with a man who opposes EQUAL PAY FOR EQUAL WORK?!?!? How can a woman have the audacity to even come up with such a claim, when she doesn't even agree these women are entitled to EQUAL PAY FOR EQUAL WORK.... Can they really support a child?
Same old Washington, 90 % of the time Bush AND Bush speech writers working on the campaign....if the same people are running the show, how is it different?
And why did McCain pick someone he met once previously? Maybe because he took suggestion from someone else. I do not want a President that easily persuaded. They went far right, and she is turning off the middle because of WOMEN's RIGHTS...the irony!
